I was always raised by my dad that you show up for significant events. I have gotten to see every one of the kids to graduate from Cambridge-Isanti for 35 years. @CIHS_Activities

The Bluejacket Way was outstanding. I think it impacts our school district and our kids, staff, teachers, administration, faculty, exceptionally and in a positive way. @CIHS_Activities

I like to think our sportsmanship is the best in the entire state. That’s the goal. The goal each and every day is let’s make people better people. @CIHS_Activities

When you talk about the character traits from preschool all the way through, they [students] know how to treat each other. @Queener1

That doesn't just happen. That is from hard work from our staff [. . .]that’s a culture thing. You cannot just turn a switch on and be that person. @Queener1

To me the Cambridge-Isanti Schools is special. Each and every kid is special. When I walk by that flag pole [at the high school] every day it’s the hope that I am going to treat people with kindness, dignity and respect.  Every day we are on this earth is a bonus. So for me it’s a choice. @CIHS_Activities

One thing you can count on is always having conflict. It’s how you respond to the conflict and to the problems with those around you that really makes a difference. @Queener1

Culture is everywhere and sometimes it can be hard to define. Culture is always established and it is difficult to change. Culture is a key to success. If you don’t have a positive culture our chances of success diminish. @Queener1
